Today, serious stuff indeed. How does a Glow Girl or Boy incorporate Cellular Skin Rx products into a daily routine that includes the most popular (and effective) at-home skin care devices? Read on and find out how to optimize your results.

The DermaRoller

What is it: No, this prickly device is not a tool for tenderizing cheap cuts of meat, darlings! The DermaRoller is usually made of medical grade stainless steel with fine points less than 1mm long distributed all over the roller.

How does it work: Pricking the skin lightly induces a healing response that signals skin to make more elastin and collagen. It is quite effective for treating crepiness and shallow lines and general texture/pore problems. Always use an absolutely clean device. No sharing!

Cellular Skin Rx Complementary Products: F*a*C*E Synergy Serum, Vitamin C+ Firming Serum, and Progeniderm™ Anti-Senescence Skin Stem Cell Serum. The DermaRoller allows deeper penetration into the skin and since all of these products encourage cellular repair and collagen synthesis, you can expect a better result than using the DermaRoller alone.

LED Photo Rejuvenation Light Devices

What is it:  A device with an array of LED lights ranging in color and frequency.

How does it work: LED Photo Rejuvenation devices use an array of infrared lights of varying frequencies to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The light frequencies work by changing a metabolic process that has to do with the moisture in the skin. Recommended use is 4x/week and three minutes in each area to be treated. Most devices are cleared by the FDA for use specifically around the eye area but Glow Girls and Boys, you may use it anywhere you want to firm up the skin. Well, okay, maybe not THERE.

Cellular Skin Rx Complementary Products: Because the frequencies of the LED light rays work due to the moisture in skin cells, using our Firming Densifier Active Treatment Moisturizer or CSRx Antioxidant Defense Complex before using the LED device will optimize each Glow Girl’s and Boy’s fabulous results.

 Microcurrent Skin Care Treatment

What is it: A device that creates a low level electrical current that can be delivered painlessly into the skin. Usually Q-tip probes are used about 3 inches apart with the current moving from one probe to the other through the skin to close the circuit.

How does it work:  A very low level “micro” electrical current stimulates skin cells to produce more ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP encourages protein, collagen and elastin production. The higher the ATP (which sadly, Glow Girls and Boys, decreases as we age) in each cell, the stronger the ability of the cell to heal and repair previous damage. The electrical stimulation of specific muscles in the face can also result in a temporary “lifting” especially of the lower areas of the face.

Cellular Skin Rx Complementary Products: Water-based serums are best to facilitate movement of the microcurrent through the skin. SuperMax MultiPeptide Skin Solution Serum, ProgeniDerm Anti-Senescence Skin Stem Cell Serum, and Perfect Skin Line-Diffusing Emulsion are all good candidates to apply before microcurrent treatment. No oil-based products should be used as they will impede movement of the electrical current through the skin.
