An amino acid that binds to the pure glycolic acid molecule. Once bonded, it allows for controlled delivery of glycolic acid into the skin over a prolonged period of time thus reducing irritation that usually accompanies AHA use. Promotes collagen synthesis and increases skin elasticity.
