How to gift wrap for the holidays in style
One of my favorite parts of gift giving is gift wrapping. My parents always made me wrap everybody’s gift because I just loved doing it. Each year I always have a theme in mind for my gifts and I like to prepare everything before I even buy gifts. I can remember being so obsessed with Tori Spellings mom, Candy and her incredible gift wrapping closet. I so wanted one. Anyway, black and gold and hints of grey are so my vibe right now, so this year I’m into the color combo for my gift wrapping pleasure. So, here are some ideas with the color palate in mind.
Add some texture to your black, white and gold scheme with neutrals like crochet doilies + linen bows. I love beige in the mix.
No time for paper? No problem. Get gold + black duct tape and take your boxes like you would work with ribbon. This is unique and clever, nobody else will give gifts like you.
As long as you stick to your color scheme of 1-3 colors you really can’t go wrong. I am one who prefers to use the same paper on all the boxes for a massive effect, but you can use multiple patterns too. I try and switch up the accents like on these music note wrapped boxes. I just adore the small broaches on them.
Now get your own black and gold wrapping paper. I have a few cool sources in the holiday gift shop.
