      Dry skin is a type of skin, and is more common as the skin ages. Look at your skin. Does it look oily? Does it look oily or a protective barrier? We all have natural oils on our skin, however, if the answer is yes, then your skin is dry. It tends to feel firm, dry and sensitive. You may also have underlying skin conditions such as blocked pores or delicate skin, which are dead skin cells. Dry skin is less prone to acne as it does not contain sebum (oil), but can be more sensitive than other skin types due to the weak skin barrier. Since dry skin is low in sebum, it should be replenished with oil for healing.
