ProgeniDerm™ Anti-Senescence Skin Stem Cell Serum provides nutrients to adult skin stem cells that encourage new epidermal cell growth while protecting and prolonging the cell life of existing skin cells. It protects against chromosomal damage that signals the cell to undergo apoptosis (cell death). Often this signal is sent prematurely due to natural aging processes or free radical damage caused by UV light, smoke, stress, etc. With protection against this damage, the cell lives longer while the serum promotes new cell growth.

Normal, undamaged adult skin stem cells reorganize, heal and repopulate the skin with new cells. They repair and regenerate cells and have the ability to continue these actions throughout our lifetimes. However as we age, the ratio of new eipidermal skin cells to aging (senescent) skin cells becomes smaller and smaller.
